Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Janet Reno

I watched the 9-11 hearings today,,,In fact, I've been watching them for some time now. Generally speaking, they have been partisan finger pointing more than anything else. But who knows, maybe something good can come from the whole affair.

But my question is about Janet Reno. She was obviously having a very hard time putting her sentences together, and the panel was rather "easy" on her, for lack of a better word.

Does she have something wrong with her? She looked like she either had Parkinsons disease, or the early stages of Allzhimers.

Does anyone know?

I am not sure just what it is she has, but during the last state election se was runing against Jeb and it was brought up, and she actually colasped during the campain and had to be hospitalized for a day or to. I think it was Parkinson, but not sure.

Yeah, it's Parkinsons, and it seems to be a severe case at that.

I saw a little bit of her testimony and I have to say she did step up to the plate and take responsibility for some of the problems the FBI had.

Taz, I agree that she did tend to give straight foward answers...But I am also convinced that she has Parkinsons.

I think that her own sense of mortality has come home to roost and she answered to the best that her consience would let her, and as a result, I've noticed that her testimony has received very little news coverage.

The media gave her a "pass"

Dave the media is funny sometimes, they tend not to kick an individual when they are down due to a health problem. It is weird how they backed off of Reagan after he started really going down hill due to alzheimers.
