Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Should we discuss religion on public forums?

As some of you may know, I have a website, and I have been debating in my mind whether I want to have a discussion forum or not. It is in the can and ready to go. My questions are thus. Is it scriptural to debate theology in a public forum like this? I also have been thinking of trying to avoid doctrinal stuff, and keep things uplifting and more around hunting and using the outdoors for the Lord, etc. Is that possible?

Would like your input.

Better that it's discussed in public than not at all, I think.

Is it scriptural to spread the gospel?

Not without debate, no. Think about how many of us as hunters out here disagree with the others' hunting practices. Combine this with religion and look out. Not saying it can't work, but just how people are. I personally love discussing religion and politics together, no matter how wrong some of you people are. (J/K of course)

badshot... I guess what I am asking is debate between believers publically. (rather than gospel message) I appreciate the insights. Thank you.

I really do want input here.

I don't know if it is "Scriptual" or not, I'm not that much of a scriptual person. I believe and I know what I believe and why I believe it, but I can't and don't try to quote chapter and verse. I do believe it is a healthy and productive thing to discuss politics and religion in an open forum, you just never know what you may learn.
