Chinese hostages freed! Surprise, Surprise!

Why is it that the Chinese get released? Maybe that Iraq respects (fears) them. I'm sure the Chinese called and said "Release them now or you are no more..."

That is all these people understand... Rule by fear and can only be ruled by fear.

Democracy will have to be enforced... with power...the radical elements kept at bay.

It cannot be a democracy/republic as we know it in our country.

CNN reports:

The Arabic satellite news channel al-Jazeera reported that 11 Russians had been taken hostage, but Russian foreign ministry spokesman Alexander Yakovenko said eight employees of the Interenergoservis company were seized.

There are reports that two Iraqi guards may have been killed during the abduction.

But in a separate development, a group of seven Chinese hostages were released by their captors.

The men appeared on al-Jazeera shortly after their release - they were smiling and seemed to be in good health.

I'm not the least bit surprised . The Chinese don't mince words when they get mad . They probably told the Iraqis what hour the first nuke would hit if they didn't release their folks !

I doubt they would drop a nuke.

Most likely it involved a thinly veiled threat following in the footprints of a previous Soviet tactic with Arabic kidnappers... A simple yet effective method to reduce the enjoyment they would receive from their pile of virgins that they would supposedly get when they died...

Also, the Chinese have some rather ingenious methods to produce pain and suffering in a human body. This also can be a effective tool for modifying the thought trend of certain radical elements of society...

i.e. "OH S---!!!!! If we don't send their boys back they are gonna cut our pickers off!!!!"

or "AAAAAAAAH! If we don't send these folks back we will be rolled in pig fat and barbecued in front of nekkid wimmens... after they cut our toothpicks off!!" etc. etc.
