I don't think it is a good idea to mess with China. They aren't as kind as the US. Maybe spur China to team up with US against Islam? Scary thought... Kinda like the Lion laying down with the Lamb...
CNN reports:
Chinese State and Communist Party leaders said Monday they were "very concerned" about the kidnapping and instructed the Foreign Ministry and embassy in Baghdad to begin rescue work urgently, the ministry said in a statement.
Iraq should "take all necessary measures to identify the kidnappers and whereabouts of the hostages, and to rescue them safely," the ministry said.

Years back when a particular group of ragheads was doing a lot of kidnapping etc. They made the mistake of grabbing a couple of Diplomats (?) from the then U.S.S.R. The KGB at the time (if you recall) was a force to be reckoned with. A short article in the New York Times, page 132 or there abouts recounted the result. KGB agents tracked down several of those they suspected to be involved in the kidnapping and, shall we say, altered them to the status of Neuter, a significant event in the life of any male, but particularly so in the Muslim world. The "Diplomats" were returned, unharmed,in short order. I wonder if the Chinese version of the KGB is as inventive.
A similar thing crossed my mind when I heard about this. Exactly what would the US do, if anything, against "atrocities" taken by the ***anese troops/govt to recover the kidnapped folks? They may not take approach we would approve of and would we have the right to stop them?
It is high time that every American realizes that we are at WAR!! We have been since 1993 when the World Trade Center was first bombed. And the war is not limited to Al Quida, and Iraq. Just take a look at the news reports of the various people that have been captured alive in the fighting in Fallujah. They have included, Syrians, Sudanese, Yemenese, and I think, as I recall, Pakistanis. It is the entirety of the Arab/Islamic world. If you think otherwise, you are naive!!
My feeling about the islamic religion is quite simple although it may be incorrect and that is they feel we Christians are wrong by letting our women wear slacks, makeup and have jobs along with all of the other civil rights that they have. Therefor they are all aligned against western civilizations. Some are just more violent than others. But they will all unite against Chistian nations. Think about all of the professional athletes that are muslim and how much money they are funneling into the islamic coffers. Scary. At least that is my point of view.
If the Chinese wage war or agression against them it will not be as gentle as we do. They will not follow the rules of the Geneva convention or anything else. I would hate to have the Chinese go to war against us. Not only are there many more of them but their technoligy is as good as ours.
How many of you stood in formation, placed your hand in the air, one on the bible & took the oath "To protect our Nation against all enemies foreign & domestic"? That's what we do, ANYONE who rises up against the greater good of our Nation will be dealt with. It doesn't matter their race, creed, color, or sex, "they" can be anyone.
