Picture Trivia .... do ya'll know what caused this ?

Now no cheating, just look at the photos, can ya'll tell me what caused the below damage to the pictured forests ? It wasn't nuclear bombs, it wasn't volcanos .... any guesses ?

I think i've seen that before, i believe it's from a meteor hit.

Yea, that's Tunguska .................they figured it was a small comet exploding in the atmosphere before it hit the ground. The trees right above the blast were left standing with a large circle blown away and the trees spread out like flower petals away from the center.
