Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default A point for the liberals on the board.

I've seen a lot of posts bashing GW and on issues for the election. After reading several, the economy is high on everyones mind. Here's my question; what price is too high to pay when your country has been attacked? I agree that GW has spent a lot of $$, but why? Defending you, me, our children? YES!! If Gore had been in the WH, would we have the deficit? No, probably not. Nor would Osama be hiding like a coward that he is. Nor would Saddam be ousted. Nor would you or I be able to attend a NASCAR race, football game, basketball game, go to work or anything else that requires a gathering of people. Think about these freedoms when you go to the ballot box in Nov and sign your death warrant if you wish. Me, I'll vote for GW again. At least he'll do something about cowards that wish to hurt MY country and he wants me to be able to have the right to defend myself and family and you if needed by not taking away my 2nd Amendment RIGHT. And yes this thread is intended to get under some skin.

buckmine,

Surely you jest! The Democrats were in office for 8 years! The head of Bin Laden was offered to Klintoon on a silver platter but he was too busy in the oval orifice playing games with Monica to be bothered with him and asked the Saudi's to take him. Al Gore would have wrung his hands and moaned and whimpered in the corner had he been President, and praise the Lord he WASN'T, when 9/11 occurred.

Bill

Have you ever heard of Prime minister Chamberlain? How about the term "appeasement?"

'nuff said.

Man that must be some pretty good stuff you've been smoking!
As GW Bush said, "about all Clinton did against terrorists was to send a million dollar rocket up one camels butt!"

Be careful of the use of the word "defending" ... Iraq did not attack us, there was no "defense" in that, its was all done because of a potential threat.

Strong military = more security and the spending that is used there IS a good thing for the economy, and Democrats are traditionally weak on military. Clinton did great damage to our military in his 8 years in the name od surplus, that I agree with.

Stealth you argue. As Letterman said read the title.

You are talking with someone who wants to be taxed. I make piddly as a substitute and jobs are scarce.

I am proud of my state, which is Minnesota. It used to be the most taxed state. And I think it shows because we are always rated number one or in the top five in many categories. Guess what we voted Dem twice when Reagan ran.

Hey, I'm voting GW again as well, i think the economy is better becuse of his tax cuts and general running of the country. i do not think Iraq was a threat to us at all, but I do think gettin Saddam out was right. But it wasn't Defense.
