Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I think the network is going to make alot of money off exploiting these women.
But, on the other hand, if I was a less than attractive woman, wanting and willing to have plastic surgery to make myself feel alot better about my appearance, and somebody came to me and offered a gift like that, I'd probably be thrilled to bits. Even with having to do the show.

I think its sad.

these women will look great after surgery, no doubt. But thats not the point. Plastic Surgery has gotten entirely too commercial. Appreciate what you have (or don't have, for that matter) and get over it.

I could understand if someone got into an accident or something, and had to have surgery to get themselves back to normal... or having excess skin removed after severe weight loss. But boob jobs, rhinoplasty? no.

But after saying all that, I think The Swan will get HUGE ratings, because even though I'm against the basis of the issue... I'll watch the show

Hockey playoffs started last night so I certainly didn't waste my time watching this crap, but I did see before/after pictures this morning and I can say that it was pretty amazing.

If a parent would have instilled some self-estem into these woman when they where kids they wouldn't need to go under the knife to feel good about themselves
