Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Two Police officers shot and killed(minor warrant)

Police from New York and Pennsylvania are seeking a man in the killing today of two Bradford County sheriff's deputies in Wells Township in northwestern Bradford County.

State police at Towanda, Pa., confirmed the deaths at an afternoon press conference.

The man being sought is Dustin Briggs. Briggs is described as white, 5 foot 10 inches tall with long hair. He has a stocky build and is 25 to 30 years old. He is thought to be on foot.

Briggs is considered armed and dangerous and police are being advised to proceed with caution, according to police scanner reports.

He and two other men were in a home on Congdon Road in Wells Township when sheriff's deputies tried to serve a minor warrant around 11:09 a.m., police said in a briefing with media late this afternoon. The exact charge on the warrant was not stated at the briefing.

Helicopters, all-terrain vehicles, police dogs, and police from eight agencies in the Twin Tiers were in Wells and South Creek townships -- around Christian Hollow, Congdon, Bird Creek, Ferran and Wheeler roads -- stopping and searching cars and warnings motorists not to pick up hitchhikers.

Road blocks were set up around the region and many area schools were on lockdown, which meant parents had to provide photo identification to pick up their children.

Default RE: Two Police officers shot and killed(monor warrant)

From what I heard earlier, the house was a drug lab.
