GI's killed in Iraq ---People murdered in USA

The AP reported that in January 36 GI's died in Iraq. This is tragic and I in no way mean to minimize it.
In January there were 35 murders in Detroit. What a comparison!
The AP must have let this one slip through some how. (media bias)
I wonder what the count would be if we waited and fought the war over here.

I dont like making that comparison, but it does speak volumes.

I do not like the comparison as well, but there are certainly underlying factors there.

Depends on what weapon they use& on who.
door to door with rifles?Not going to happen anytime soon& crime will go on here.And the war.

A chemical, bioligal, in a shipping container?bombs in the pubic transport&school buses/?
The 35 deaths in detroit? are not comparable-to those killed by OUR enemys.
But it does say a few things() Just like our Capital /D.c & its crime /murder rates.

Our prez would have had more chance being murdered in our capital, as a ordenary man taking a walk , as sadam would have been in the same situation in bagdad under his rule.

Whats that mean? A good dictator , tryant can be quite effective in crime control?
