I don't use either. I'm currently sitting on the fence about high fences. Let me ask you a question. How does the use of either of those things restrict a deers natural movement?

I use scents , and will be using decoys this year . What has that to do with high fences , or the price of tea in China for that matter Burnie ?
We all know that Texans are used to high fence hunting , but that doesn't make it any more ethical or acceptable to the rest of us who aren't used to it . Scents and decoys have been used for thousands of years , fences are a very recent invention by comparison .

kevin, you need to formulate a thought out oppinion rather than taking stabs. I have never hunted a high fence, I only know of two places that have them. Texas is not all high fences. Actually for the amount of land, there is very few fenced places.
Agian, this is not an attack, Im looking for honest answers. Im not going to explain why, I dont want to alter your true answers.

I don't think anyone here is anti-high fence - just don't call it real hunting is all. I know, I know, talk about the kazillion acre high fence if you want to, but it aint like hunting public land whitetails and that a fact.
I've tried scents, I have decoys but short of antelope never used them. I can honestly say scents have never paid off for nothing for me. Sitting trails, scrapes etc has killed my deer.
