Student Sues School and Wins Won for 2nd Ammendment
If anyone gets ahold of the latest Field and Stream, there is a good breif article in it about a High School student from Charlottesville, VA whom was suspended from school for wearing a NRA shooting camp t-shirt to school. It shows a picture of the t-shirt, its purple with neon letters, not really threating in my opinion. Anyway, it is the schools policy not to allow any shirts that promote or display weapons of any sort on clothing.
His parents sued the school board, and in the court of appeals they won. The logic being that under the schools policy, a t-shirt with the seal of the state of VA could not even be worn, since the seal is essientially depicts a murder with a spear.
Pretty good stuff....
