Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default 9/11 debates

Does anyone other than me see these as a complete waste of time and taxpayer money?
Is this just political angling? One administration trying to make the other look bad?
It appears to ba a bunch of nonsensical finger pointing. How will any of this help the victims? Should we not be focusing on what we ARE going to do tomorrow not what we didn't do yesterday?
Just curious if I am all alone in these opinions.

YES

I say yes to all your questions..... I think the republicans are pointing fingers at the democrats and as always the democrats are pointing fingers at the Bush Administration.

I can't understand how ALL the facts that we know about how the former administration passing up opportunites to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden go by the wayside for 8 years and now after Bush's term being 8 months we want to blame him?

IT IS ALL POLITICS, AND I THIONK MOST AMERICANS ARE SICK OF THE BLAME GAMES.

THESE TWO MAJOR PARTIES NEED TO LEARN TO WORK TOGETHER OR AMERICANS WILL EVENTUALLY STAND TOGETHER AND REPLACE THEM ALL

Ideally No, I don't see it as a waste of money. But the goal should not be to point fingers, but to find out where the breakdown was and see if we can fix that hole in the intelligence gathering and assimilating system.

But, being a election year and all, it of course is being used in a partisan way.

They ought to keep this behind closed doors.... Keep politics out of it.
