I guess IF a girl is found to be slutty it DOES have a impact on the trial and allegations she levied against another, doesn't it ? Probably chaps ya'll too, don't it ?

Certainly. If a man accused a woman of rape, and they look into his past and see that he's a whore and sleeps with women left and right, i'd say theres a pretty strong case there that the guy was in fact, not raped at all.

I have purposely ignored the daily puke of details on this case. I find sports reports in general boring, and do not follow the sordid lifestyles of the worst offerings it produces.

Besides, I could have written the details before they occurred. The law and our courts allow these cases to become a 3-ring circus with the victim eventually being tried as the one responsible.

That may not be accurate. Perhaps its in the way the accused are treated that we are different. Irregardless, as with this case, sexual history plays an important part on the relevance and believability of an accusation. If the girl was a super slut, then its quite possible she willingly had sex with Kobe. If she was a virgin, very believable he raped her.

Lawyers love cases like this. A game of "he said she said," wherein they get a chip-shot at a chance to distort reality.

I still love the idea of 5 days of prosecution, 5 days of defense, 2 days of cross examination, 3 days for jury/judge to deliberate, verdict given, end of trial.
