Perhaps not a bad thing. Let the Europeans begin to pick up the tab for a change for the rest of the world. They have reaped the benefits of tagging along on Uncle Sams' coattails for long enough. Let them provide money,troops and medicine to the world on the same scale that we have for awhile without the well known European penchant for colonialism. They could start out, let's say, with Africa. Pick a country, Nigeria, Liberia, Tanzania or any one of twenty more with a standing army and a despotic leader and go ahead and fix it. Germany, France, England, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Italy and others reaped the profits early on from the "Dark Continent" let them now go back and fix the wrongs that threaten the stability of the region.

Funny thing is that the party that was elected ruined that countries economy the last time they were in office. The new party restores the economy and actually has enough balls to send troops to Iraq. One bomb and they've set that country back ten years. Its a sad state of affairs when al qeada can influnce an entire countrys election

What makes it really sad is not that al qaeda pulled off the bombing in an attempt to influence the election, (can't blame a snake for acting like a snake). What is really sad is that they succeeded! And that is a reflection directly upon the Spanish.....not al qaeda!
Every liberty loving person in the world knew al qaeda was despicable. What we didn't previously know is that the Spanish of today....are cowardly! Before it is over they may end up with the French (spit)!

Even if they ever(yeah right) became as powerful a the US they still won't be able to work together long enough to pose a threat to us except for maybe dying laughing at them .
