Happy St Pat's Day Limerick

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie released the following limerick in tribute to Democratic nominee John Kerry:

There once was a man from Nantucket,
Whose misstatements could fill up a bucket.
Oft the truth he has bent,
Like his "Irish descent."
Of his record he says, "I'll just duck it."

The limerick came at the end of an RNC press release saying that Gillespie -- the son of an Irish immigrant -- would march in New York's St. Patrick's Day parade on Wednesday.
