If you'd like an in depth overview of our current economic recovery I will conveniently put a link at the bottom of this post for you. I am sure you will find it not only factual, but much more detailed than a "spot" on CNN.

If you are still getting your "news on the economy" from CNN, CBS, ABC, or NBC......you will never know more than "one side of the story". And to say it is "slanted at that".....would be an understatement of large proportion.

Hi Ifferd,

Employment numbers are easily manipulated for political purposes on either side of the aisle. And as such, are not the best economic indicators on the health of an economy. I am therefore much less likely to put much stock in those numbers. But particularly coming from a "network newscast". (You can be certain that CNN would not have picked the best "Republican", in this case, to articulate answers concerning the economy.) I am indeed serious when I say I automatically suspect, (and frequently outright dismiss), news from the network.

It is much easier to hit reliable, less biased, news sources on the internet!

After the first post, thats is EXACTLY what I thought. I don't even watch CNN or ay other national news network anymore. Its all Pro-Kerry, and anti-Bush anyway. I'll stick to the Internet...
