These folks need to find a hobby other than taking up valuable time with lobbyists in state and federal law making arenas.

I loved how this fella said, "illegal refers to someone who came and broke the law". Well no kiddin' buddy he broke the law by jumping the border. They there for immigated by illegal means. Hence the name.

It doesn't surprise me that the story was in the atlanta journal-constitution just come down here and ride through any constuction site and you will think you are in mexico. There are so many down here you would think I.N.S was at the border asking them to come not trying to stop them. There are places where they gather and wait for people to come by and need workers you ride by and there will be hundreds sitting around and if you slow down they will try to get in your vehicle. There was one resturant that was close to a trailer park that the mexicans had taken over that nearly had to close because before the cops started running them off people would come out from eating and there would be mexicans sitting in the back of their trucks

I just spent the last two years in Southern California. If there wasn't an "established" border, with policeman and signs saying "now entering Mexico" I would have been convinced that mexico started right around Riverside County. [:'(]

I don't mean to bash on Mexicans. Mexicans are HARD-WORKING people, its just the illegal ones that make me so angry! Mexican-Americans who are here should be just as angry as I am! Illegal Immigrants (NOT undocumented workers) are reaping the same benefits as the Mexican-Americans who have worked hard for their citizenship.

Shame on anyone who gives "unlawful migrants" "law-breaking border-hoppers" and/or "non-tax-paying consumer of health and human services" the benefit of the doubt.
