18. It's barely sprinkling rain and there's a report on every news station: "STORM WATCH,"
You have no idea just how true these two are there . I was driving a U-Haul truck to the maintainence yard with a coworker one day , and it began to sprinkle . He completely lost it because I was doing 55 mph ! When I asked what his prob was he shrieked "IT'S RAINING!"

I grew up in Wisconsin, and after high school spent two years in California.
Anyone who asks me why I moved back to Wisconsin from SUNNY CALIFORNIA is going to get a link to this page!! You hit the nail right on the head Tazman!!
I grew up in Mobile Alabama, and it rains there all the time. When I moved to Denver I was suprised when there is a little rain shower it is a severe storm alert. People out here will drive 70 mph in a snow storm but a little rain seems to slow everything to a halt. This drainage around here is terrible. Evertime it rains it floods this one part of the freeway everytime. We call it lake evans when it rains.
I have lived in California since 1937 and everything in the post is true. I have a place in 50 miles from LA in a rural community where we have been for 18 years and now it"™s getting too crowded
