"R" movie ratings for what ????????

I heard on a local radio show this morning, that some people are trying to put a "R" rating on movies in the theaters that depict cigarette smoking in them !!!

Should this be done ??? why or why not ???

No, although I wish more movies would totatly get rid of smoking in there movies.

Less smoking, more nudity

Was just thinking of that before on how in the old movies ( 40,s etc) everyone had a cigg & where talking fast& clippy. lol
Maybe to much coffee& ciggerttes ( roger miller)
A, R rating for a cigg? sounds nuts, compared to whats on tv- when i see everyday they relax the codes on tv for swear words/ how come B8thch is &A$$& a few more are very common & content sieral killer rapists, vampire lesbians , with 4 ***** guys , 2 donkeys& 3 metro/transgener morping sleaze artists. Then you have all the implyed inuendos & hoomo humor& other trash like civil service adds& drug adds &

Yall ever notice on TV how they will bleep out the "God" but it is acceptable for D*mn to be said?

Bout the worst thing you can say right there.

I read in the paper the other day that by the time a child born in the 80s or later reaches the age of 18, they will have seen over 10,000 murders on TV and in movies.

I wonder how many books on average an 18 year old reads these days?

Here is another statistic. My preacher read this to our church last weekend, in this country right now, 47% of all children live in single parent homes.

We have all these kids growing up without proper families, yet the powers that be want to not show anyone under 17 a movie character smoking on the silver screen? What is going on here?
