I'm suprised it hasn't come up here yet. Does anyone think that the way Bush used 9/11 footage in his campaign adds was wrong or in poor taste? I saw all three commercials, and do not think they were bad, disrespectful, etc. But then again, I didn't loose a loved one in the towers.
I think 9/11 is relevant to who we elect as president since we are still engaged in this war on terror. Therefore, it is also relevant to bring up 9/11 footage so that we understand exactly what is at stake.

KEEP RUNNING THE ADS G.W.! They are fine ads, unless your a liberal running for President. If the Dems complain about it they must know it is hurting them. OH wait they complain about everything he does.

Up with the ads, they are well done. Maybe Kerry should look at his own stuff. Pictures of Viet Nam war stuff. How many U.S. citizens were killed in Nam? A heck of alot more than in 9/11. The point to remember is that politicians always run stuff they think makes them appear better / stronger. That's the way it is.

It certainly is relevant and a defining issue on the whys and what fors of theis country including the actions and policies of Bush and his administration.
To think otherwise is to be hiding your head in the sand. For those family members who are coming out agianst it, they are the ones who are using their family member memories for political gain and manipulation, not Bush. He foucses on the event as it impacted this great nation, not the individual. This is a time of individual sacrifice as well as unitity among all in this country. We have a common enemy and that is the terrorist forces that caused 9/11. To ignore it, turn a blind eye to it or push it aside for political reasons is a sad commentary on the demmies.
Just as Kerry has a right to define himself as a combat solider Bush has a right to define himself as a War on Terrorist President.
As Kerry stated, words to the effect, I have a right to use Vietnam, I was there, Bush has a right to use 9/11, it was on his watch and he as a leader has brought us through this thus far. Thatt demonstrates he is there for the USA and is a strong decisive leader.
We are dealing with hateful people more in this election than ever in my memory of a presidential election. It is going to get uglier before it is all over and the run away charge to the gutter will be lead by vile mean spirited nasty liberal demmies.
