Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

No one in the Washington scene believes that this will come up again before then. Pundits are essentially expecting this to be the last gun control bill of the year.

I think that our friends in congress have proved by sacrificing the lawsuits bill, that they will not allow AWB to be approved again! Which is a good thing!

I would think that the banned weapons would then be legal for purchase again if the AWB dies.

Yep, that's how it stands at this point. Democrats are already crying over the upcoming sunset. God forbid that anyone have the oppurtunity to put a bayonet on their SAR-1, or buy a pistol magazine with a whopping three additional rounds in it.

Yeah, when it sunsets Sept 13th the clinton AWB will be history and the guns and magazines banned by it will be legal immediately.

Don't buy a high-capacity magazine when/if they become legal again....you'll instantly become an insane criminal and start killing people[]

Well thats what I would say if my last name was Kerry

I am confused as to what the AWB sunsetting will affect. Is it magazine capacity in rifles, handguns, or both. I know there are some things like flash suppressers, bayonet lugs that will no longer be outlawed but what else. I guess I really dont know the difference between the brady bill effects and the AWB effects. Can someone clear my confusion. Ive tried reading the laws themselves but all the lawyer double speak gets to me

Can I then buy the "Outlawed Guns"?
Maybe..., i will believe it when i see it ..lol They have any dup lacate laws? same things called something else.
But some states , citys etc have restritions (laws )of there own.

So those( 25-30 round ) 22. mags that use to cost $10 at walmart will be that again 10 instead of 75 +dollars at gun stores etc that carry them .
You will not be a felon everytime you attach said type mags to a sks( plus about100 other rifles) not made for detachable mags* or you mount your bayanet& flash suppresser& folding stock & its 3 more felonys? []
All could be done on the toylet while reading the paper& using both hands to pick a nose hair with vise grips.

I think chucky shumer is a whiney commie elitist ,socialist homosexual sword swallower, who gives thse kinda ppl jobs?[]. rubber blubber lips moynahan?tedy kennady, billy c , shillery clintoon , barny exuce my boy toy partys& lisp frank .Charlie i look like a new orleans pink/pimp rangal & dont know what happened to my voice either.

We? Keep hiring ppl like that& them ( And kerry), those we put in charge of our laws& our freedons....will always be threatened& in danger .I dont trust any poltican truthfully lol..but im paranoid.

As superman would say?- A never ending battle for truth, justice& the American way.
