Default assault weapon ban upheld

The ban on the sale of assault weapons due to expire in September has been extended. Also passing was a bill to require background checks at Gun Shows to be the same as if you were buying from a gun shop. What do ya think of all this ?

I'll be quite blunt: I think it's bullsh*t, the same kind that I smelled the first time around.

I esecially liked my senators comments :

New Jersey Democratic Sen. Frank Lautenberg said assault weapons are "intended to kill as many people as possible in as short a period of time" and don't belong on the street.

What a schmuck

Well, at least there'll be less crime on the streets now.
