Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default PETA up to no good again - attacking Gibson

This is funny:

Quote:
Mel Gibson"s controversial film "The Passion of the Christ" depicts the suffering of Christ. And that is prompting attacks from some who say that Gibson has been causing the suffering of critters.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is planning to protest Gibson today, descending on his cattle ranch in Columbus, Montana while bearing signs that read: "Thou Shalt Not Kill" and "Honor all of God"s Creations."

"Anyone who sends cows to slaughter mocks God," says PETA"s vegan campaign director Bruce Friedrich, who also is a devout Roman Catholic. "Slaughterhouses are the embodiment of violence, bloodshed, and cruelty. If Gibson wants his audience to contemplate the awfulness of inflicting suffering on the innocent, he should show his own animals some mercy."
Funny how PETA will go to the extreme of taking away the meaning of Jesus by comparing it to showing no mercy for animals. That's sick man. Sick. Sick. Sick. Idiots.

Guess they had to jump on this PR bandwagon though and make themselves look like morons. I love this: "Anyone who sends cows to slaughter mocks God," says PETA"s vegan campaign director Bruce Friedrich, who also is a devout Roman Catholic."

If there is a stage, Peta will jump on it even if they don't have anything to say

I guess they missed the fact that God Himself sacrificed the first animals to make coverings out of their skins for Adam and Eve.

And He was the one who ordered animal sacrifices.

And Jesus ate meat.

PETA is a bunch or complete idiots who are way off the deep end. These morons are just trying to capitalize of the current publicity that "the Passion" is getting. Why weren't they complaining about this earlier if it bothered them so much?

The more PETA carries on with these ludicrous demonstrations, the more the average citizen, hunter and non-hunter alike will be turned off by their organization. Peta can only lose credibility with 'fence-sitters' when it comes to their causes.

This is very true. I check out a vegan board about once a week to see what they are up to. Just about all of them call themselves animal activists, and about once a month there is a posting about how Peta is screwing there "movement" by there outlandish crap. If the bunny huggers hate em too, maybe we won't have to worry about them too much longer

Sad part of that is PETA isn't really a very big organization, not as big as their mouth anyway. It's dollars that run peta and make them look big. Take a look at some of their backers - these people have bucks. That's why I don't think they are going away and have become a household name - mula.

It's also why they're losing their tax exempt status with the IRS , too much money spent on raising more funds .
Let 'em drown in their own bullsheit !
