Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Man Sentenced for Defecating on Floor
Fri Feb 20, 2:25 PM ET Add Strange News - AP to My Yahoo!

SAGINAW, Mich. - A judge made sure the punishment fit the crime when he sentenced a man to clean 100 toilets at the Saginaw County Jail.

Jonathan F. Naessens, 23, pleaded guilty to stealing a firearm from a Richland Township home, but investigators also found human feces in the basement near the window where the burglar entered the house.

Authorities say Naessens defecated on the floor. In addition to the toilet scrubbing, Circuit Judge Fred L. Borchard on Wednesday sentenced the Richland Township man to two years' probation and to pay $389 in restitution to clean the property.

"The sentence is excellent," Sheriff Charles L. Brown told The Saginaw News. "What's more disgusting than someone coming into your home and doing this?"

This report sort of reminds me of Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest when he was being interviewed by the shrink.

So he got sentenced to clean 100 toilets, $389 restitution, and two years PROBATION! I hope that's just for crapping on the floor. If that's all he got for not only crapping on the floor, but also for committing at least three FELONIES (B&E and/or Burglary, and grand theft firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm). This illustrates the core of our problem with gun violence and bass-ackwards gun-control laws. While Diane Feinstein, et al, are working the fat little butts off to make criminals out of all of us who've never harmed a soul (without just cause) and wouldn't think of committing a felony, while this idiot can break into somebody's house, steal a gun, and crap on their basement floor and still only get two stinkin' years probation!! Why do we lock up people who get caught with a couple ounces of pot, but let a burglar and gun thief walk away with a slap on the wrist? God knows what he, or the violent felon he sold it to, would have done with that gun had this guy not been caught. And who want's to bet that the jerkoff will re-offend before his probation is up?

These are sad times we're living in, folks. Something's gotta change or we're all screwed.

Mike
