Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default So who do I vote for tomarrow?

I don't want a Demo in office as most of you here don't either. Do you think that my vote could be used more wisely to try and get a weaker guy running in november? If so who is the weaker guy? Or should I just stay at home and wait till november?

What do you think?

Unlike some state WI has an open primary. You do not have to register as to one party or another for those of you who did not know that fact. Many states have closed primaries.

That being said, I'll vote for Dean just to screw with the numbers. Bush is my man this November.
In the local race, Clarke for mayor, Walker for Co Ex. and that is basically all there is in my district.

Something to think about with all the numbers so far. If the numbers I saw on TV were correct, in Virginia, Kerry got about 52% of the vote with less than 40,000 votes. That means that less than 100,000 people in Virgina voted in their primary. Now I don't know the total voting population of that state but that is a meaningless amount of votes compared to what will come up in November.

This entire primary so far has been nothing more than Bush bashing. In the "debates" last evening all the demmies stated they were going to give the people things like, full medical coverage for 97% of America, anywhere from 10,000 to 4000 dollars for collage for Americans each year and create new jobs, including frederal make jobs programs (like FDR). At the same time they claim they are going to cut the deficit in half in four years.
They going to crap the money or take it out of their pockets to do all this?? They are going to increase jobs yet punish the small business people and wealthy by increasing taxes on them only. Now that is real incentive for those people to creat new jobs and expand their business. Some business' will fold and many more will reduce their staff. Some will hold back now in anticipation of the election results this Nov.

Voters better wake up and smell the coffee, because after the Demmies get done taxing us to the poor house or into spineless empty headed socialism that's all your going to be able to do is smell the coffee not drink it.

Bush is also my horse come November.

I'm voting for Dean because I can't bear to see him go, and he'll get creamed in the general election.

The only other race worth mentioning is Walker for County Executive and our mayoral race.

Logs, I did catch the debate last night. What a joke. These people couldn't pay for all their crap and cut the deficit even if we all stood on our heads and spit nickels.

Stork, sounds like logs has a sound strategy for your vote. Enjoy the fun.

I think your right Cal. Logs has stated good reasons for voting Dean.

1: The primarys don't mean much, and

2: I might as well have some fun on there account!

Stork,
By looking at your license plate you are in favor of protecting our nations endangered resources.Yet you vote for bush? Seems sort of odd. What's up?

Well, let me tell you Handles,

Truth is that my wife made the avatar for me. It's kinda cool!

I am not so concerned about the wolf reintroduction in Wisconsin as I am about keeping my guns. I guess I am trying to say that the liscens plate is not trying to make a statement. It just looks good and has my nick name on it. Thats all.

P.S. Handles,

Do you really think that GW is against endangered animals?

Bush is not against endagered animals perhaps, but he is for exploiting some of the places where they and other non-endagered (yet) species of animals live in the name of progress and big buisness. Eliminating the CRP program in MN and N/S Dakota? That will be great for the duck/swan/sandhill crane population. What is the point of owning a gun if you don't have places to go and stuff to shoot at? Oh wait, maybe someday I will be able to travel to the magical planet Mars and shoot things, heck it's only -130f at night in the summer there. I'm glad my money is going down that toilet in space.
Sorry Stork. There are too many things about Bush that I don't agree on. Voting for someone to only keep my guns is not strong enough an arguement. Even if the most extreme gun-hating Liberal Democrat was voted in, he still would have no chance of taking our guns away from us. Think about it, there is no way in hell that Wisconsinites would give up that fight.

I agree!

And I am not voting for him for that reason alone. That would be foolish.
