Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default People say they're leaving

They has been some people claiming they were going to leave the BBS due to a few getting banned. I have thought about it a few times, but never could stay away. I see one of our guys is still with us, he's not posting ,but atleast he's still reading. He'll be posting again! You know who you are!!

You know right now I'm really frustrated, not so much from someone getting banned, but the whole "we aren't going to discuss it" With that said, I don't want to leave that is for sure. I like the people and the debates that go on every day, and don't want to see anyone go. Sure, I can find these debates on another board, they aren't hard to find. What is hard to find is the good people that frequent this board.

Unfortunately, we don't live in the "perfect world". In the perfect world, everybody knows the rules and understands them and abides by them. So then.....you don't have to have people designated to keep the rule-breakers in line because there are no rules-breakers. So the RULES ENFORCERS don't exist. Everybody has this great deal going....sharing of ideas, peace, harmony.....it's GREAT!!! But....NO! We have individuals who can't play by the rules. So we have to have RULES ENFORCERS to keep these individuals in line. And these individuals don't like that a damn bit. So then we have CONFLICT and the RULES ENFORCERS have the power to END THIS CONFLICT. So that's why some choose to leave the AREA OF CONFLICT and I say "Don't let the door..........."

i agree with just about everyone.each has their good points.the thing that bothers me is that people will get called to the carpet or banned while others get away with it.it will always be that way everywhere.friends of the mods and the mods against the rest.outside the clique you have to go by the rules.same thing at any job.this part can be dealt with.i agree with the poster who said something about "it will not be discussed".that is wrong.people being banned and berated are exercising their right of freedom of speech.i would never say a word if EVERYONE had to go by the rules.that is just going to happen.it is very frustrating when someone gets into trouble and a mod does the same thing without a word being said.

In my opinion (take it for what it's worth....), this has happend a few times before. This is a great forum with great people. Occasionally the owners (not necessarily the mods) get a wild hair and decide what is right and what is wrong for us. They assert themselves and put a stop to certain things that we grew confortable with, and it ruffled more than a few feathers.

My suggestion is to chill for a while. Lay low and let the dust settle, then things will be back to normal.
