Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Messageman, you've been around here for awhile now and ruffled some feathers on this board. Normally somewhere on these threads people give out knowingly or not some personal info so that it's easier to figure out the person perspective. I would honestly like to know some background on you, because I'm having a really hard time figuring you out. So how about it? This isn't meant for anything but that

Is that acceptable?

age would help me out to start with. If your willing to answer I would also like to ask you a few other things, nothing really personal or anything, but just enough to knock the rough edges off

Nipple.

Sorry Jorgy. Really, I would like to know too. And if you get him answering you, ask him what Bible he reads. Thanks.

Fair enough

Born in 61 in Towson, Md, but WVA is my adopted home. Raised on a farm. Started hunting when I was 9 years old. Barely made it through High school, no college. My brothers and I run a messenger service.

Married my wife when she was 17, and I was 18. Known her since I was 7. By 22 we had 3 children. Her and her folk from WVA also. I voted for Reagan in 80, and 84, GHB in 88, and 92, Dole in 96, and GW in 00.

Besides the Lord, and the family, and the Brethren, I am a hunting fanatic. Started off with shotguns, and rifles. Went to ML's, then to compounds, and revurves, then back to compounds. still do some MlL now and then.

In between that I minister to shut ins, young adults, and the sick, and anyone tired of mainstream religion. I used to belong to Southern Baptist church, but I left because of the legalism and yoking. I am working now some other brothers to start a home church network in the style of the early churches of the Epistles.

Did I mention that I love to kill deer?

Wow, that was so unlike your style, I don't know whether to believe you or not. You never mentioned what Bible you read.

Not being an a$$ (at least I think I'm trying not to be), good story messageman. At least we have one thing going for all of us - we love to kill deer.

Thank you for answering MM. Believe it or not, you have helped me a great deal in putting a "face" to the name. I have to agree with Bob on this, very unlike your "style" of writing. It's nice to see we are all human

Jorgy, I am going to say something to you, and you can take it for what it is worth, but its straight from my heart............

A true man of Christ ain't really human. Sure the flesh is human, the bones the blood, the tears, the sweat, and what not, but the Spirit, the Spirit is as pure as the driven snow.

When his hands move, when his legs walk that's just the flesh walking. The flesh will get sore, it will ache, develope tumors, and infection, but the Spirit never tires, it never waivers, it always remains healthy.

When I preach to the elderly Christians I keep bringing them up to the fact that their broken, and sick bodies mean nothing. The homes, and trappings the have required through-out a lifetime are little more than rubbish.

As I age myself I see the lines deepen in my face, and I feel the cold more now, then I did then. My flesh longs for the days of past, the endless summers of my youth, the torrid passion my wife and I shared in those early years, when life here seemed to be an eternity.

Yes Jorgy, sometimes you will catch me in the flesh, as I boast of my past prowess, and my conquests, but as the Spirit of Christ moves on me ever stronger I am soothed by it, and less inclined to rely on the flesh.

The run down I gave you was of my human life in the world, but I want you to understand that it doesn't really mean that much to me Spiritually.
Simply put, i'd rather talk about where I am going, rather than where I have been, but you asked, and I respect that, and I would never refuse you that because you have shown me respect.

For far too long I lived in the past, the future is bright, and I just want to proclaim it, so please understand that I must base my actions, and words here on that future.

May God Bless You Jorgy, and all of you who God has called to his good purpose, and plan!

Messageman,

I commend you on your ministering to "shut ins" and the sick. Working with young adults can be very rewarding even if they are rather frustrating at times!!

I have several questians so that I can better understand your viewpoints.

What do you mean when you refer to "yoking"? Also your phrase, "style of the early churches of the Epistles" is very intrigueing to me. Would you care to elaborate on this?

Thank You,

Country Boy
