The president's poll numbers are dropping. Naturally, the media is saying
this is due to the concerted Democrat attacks on his handling of the war on
terror and Iraq. Personally, I think the media is giving WAY too much
credit to the Democrats. More likely the sinking approval ratings are due
to average Americans who are ticked off over the GOP spending orgy and the
illegal alien amnesty plan. Either way, the White House is clearly on
defense and in damage-control mode.
The fact that President Bush has agreed to risk a one-hour grilling by Tim
Russert on Sunday's "Meet the Press" is an indication of just how worried
the White House is these days. Of course, they'll "spin" it some other way,
but it's clearly more than a coincidence that the president agreed to do his
first Sunday talk-show interview of his presidency at the same time his
support by the general public appears on the wane.
You don't want to miss this one, boys and girls. Russert may well be the
best in the business. The President will have his hands full.
US vs. THEM
"According to a RoperASW poll from last year, 83 percent of Americans
support mandatory detention and forfeiture of property for illegal
immigrants, followed by deportation. Eighty-three percent. Pretty big
number. So who are the 17 percent who DON'T think illegal immigrants should be seized, jailed, have their property confiscated and deported? Well, they're pretty much (the leaders) in the two major parties, plus the entire U.S.
media."
I dont care Im voting for Bush.......AAAH wait,I`ll be muzzleloading that week in upstate N.Y.........OH WELL,........let me know who wins this p*n*s contest.
