I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps and never went aboard an actively commissioned Navy ship...but I was a Navy brat and got to sail for a day on my dad's ship...two months before I was born! My dad was a Squid and I went and became a Jarhead. He thought I was friggen crazy when I told him I'd enlisted in the Corps.

Half of me was an egg in my mothers ovary. The other was Bio compounds that made their way into my fathers homeostasis, soon to be assimilated and reconfigured into the sperm that meet my egg half..
