Default What do you do/use for food?

I work for a messenger service, and I my weapon of choice is my Matthews MQ1.........How bout you all?.....

For sport I use my longbow. If I for sure want to fill the freezer, I'll take a rifle. I'll be using a muzzleloader in CO this fall. For small game I'll take a .22 and/or a shotgun.

work my ass off first and foremost, for the fun kind of food gathering I use a...

Wisconin deer - browning bar 30.06
Colorado deer - colt light rifle .270 or browning a-bolt 300 mag
Colorado elk - knight .54 wolverine smokepole
birds - browning over under 12ga
small game - ruger 10/22

Elk---Interarms 30-06
Grouse and quail---Smith&Wesson 12ga.
Rabbits---Ruger .22 or Savage .22

Whitetail bow season- 1980 PSE wheel bow, Rifle season .243, 7 x 57, 6.5 x 55, 300 savage, 30/06, 8mm/06 whichever rifle I'm courting that season

Blackpowder season, Traditions Lightning LD .45 caliber 26", or my old CVA 24" Frontier 50 caliber

Grouse/Pheasants/Woodcock 20 ga SxS

Squirrels and Rabbits, 22 bolt with scope 22 pistol

Blacktail= Ruger M77 in 30.06

Elk= Same as above just different bullets

Birds= Remington 870 Wingmaster 12 Ga.

Concealed Weapon= Taurus 44Mag Revolver w/6'' barrel.

A remington .270 for deer/cow elk or .300 for bull elk
.22/20 gauge for small game
12 gauge for upland/waterfowl
