Janet's nipple VS "Married with Children" (no pics)

If the nipple Janets showed was bad, where does that put "Married with Children " ? That show degraded just about ever part of what a family is. THAT has more of an impact than a nipple ever will.

Of course you had the ability to not put MWC on your TV because you knew what it was about, the nipple just came out during family watching

Agreed, but with an exception. I knew what was going on with Married with Children and could control what me children watch. The halftime show at the superbowl was a suprise, and I could not prevent my children from seeing it if I so chose. Big difference. Granted my children are too young to stay up for the Bowl, but I strictly govern what my children can, and in the future will, watch on TV. Having said that, Mrried was an all time classic show, but I would not let my kids watch it.

reylamb - Seriously ? They had Nelly and Kid Rock and it was MTV sponsoring the whole thing - wasn't that raunchy enough to sensor your kids from watching it ?

Tazman - I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old, they didn't like the music nor did they watch the "show". My wife and I both were wathcing when "it" happened and while we were shocked, after talking about it we decided theres much worse on TV than that.

Did you hear Shaq's F word tyrade after a ball game the other night ? Should that not be the same thing ? But no one is talking about that .... why ?

My son saw his first bare breast at the age of 5 we were down in the Domincan,it didn't seem to effect him in any adverse way.

Yes and no on this one stealthy. You know the basic format of most shows if you watch them. Shows that will throw in some stuff once and awhile (NYPD Blue for example) have a warning on them at the start of the show. Channels that cross the line (mtv for some) can be taken off of the tv with the v-chip for parents that don't want there kids watching it.

The superbowl is the worlds biggest tv event. Million and millions of kids were watching it with there parents who thought it was family entertainment. It's becoming more and more clear that nothing is sacred anymore. If I hear that spongebob pulls out his slong on the cartoon network I'll know that the anti-christ is walking my neighborhood

Funny, my wife and I do NOT let our kids watch spongebob squarepants, do you let yours ?

funny, I was just using that as an example, don't have kids, never seen the show. Although I like to watch the angry beavers with my nephews

Those who watched the show expressed the fact that there was graphic sexual inuendo going on through out the act. With that said, anyone who expressed shock over the breast incident is hypocritical, especially if they allowed their children to watch any of it.
