Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default John Kerry quote

Nov. 2003 quote from kerry.

"I don't think the Democratic Party should be the candidacy of the NRA."

Well I think he has got his wish, cause they are not.

Its going to be interesting how the liberals of this site will try and make him a pro-gun canidate like they do all the rest of their party.

i can't believe that any true pro-gun firearms owner , and sportsman , and a supporter of the second amendment could actually back this guy , or want to see him as the pres. what are they thinking ??

Gun control is but one issue to be concerned about with Kerrys' candidacy.
With Kerry, you have a liberal who has scored a whopping 93% rating by the leftist group Americans for Democratic Action while Ted Kennedy scored a 88%. Kerry consistently opposes tax cuts, votes against weapons system appropriations, backs abortion rights, opposes legislation to define a marriage as a union between a man and a woman, and earned an "F" grade from the NRA on gun control issues. He has flip-flopped on key issues recently such as supporting force against Saddam Hussein then heavily criticizing GW Bush for doing so.
He is a liberal's liberal but amazingly shows occasional flashes of conservative leanings..... then, as if waking up to the reality of his roots, returns to his narrowminded leftist true self. He is a loose cannon, rolling around on the deck.
