NAFTA was a cooperative (democrat and republican) railroad shot thru in the last hours before new legislatures took office. The treaty is huge and it's my understanding that only one legislature read it all.

I thought it was George SR that signed it into law...but if you saw it was Billy-bob...I won't argue...it was clearly a bipartisan vote.
