Default Vaccinate your kids - yes or no?

Don't know if this is a new or old topic, but still interested in hearing from you.

I chose not to vaccinate my two kids. They are much better off and haven't been sick because of it. Over the years I've seen kids that have been vaccinated come up with some wild illnesses that were extremely painful. The school tried to tell me that my kids couldn't start school without having their vaccination papers, like dogs or something. When I told the school they would indeed be starting kindegarten and would never get shot up with monkey dna poison, they tried to use the angle that it was law. I demanded the proof of this law and also the "official" waiver to sign. They immediately produced the waiver and on we went.

I think that flu shots are wrong too - everyone on our 600 person plus office was ok until the flu shots came out. This office is STILL suffering from it. Most flus and colds started going around 4 days after the first round of flu shot were give, hmmm.

What do you think? (Can't wait to hear your views, stealthycat!)

I've been hearing alot more about this the last few years and wonder what will happen in another 10-20 years as there are going to be more and more kids that were never vaccinated. Probably nothing, but who knows

I personally don't have a problem with parents not vaccinating thier kids, I can see thier point on it. Personally, all my kids will be vaccinated

I take no chances with my kids. I vacinate them.

I vaccinated all my kids, including the hepatitis B series. The only one they didn't get was chickenpox, because they had already had chickenpox before the vaccine was available. I know there are studies that show possible links between some vaccines and other problems, but I believe the risks of not vaccinating still outweigh those.

Ifferd - it would be interesting to really know what is in those things. I can tell you this though - I put a ton of research into vaccines when we had our first kid. I was shocked and completey amazed at what is in those things and how they grow them. Did you know for example that a certain type of vaccine is grown in monkeys and actually has monkey DNA in it? Along with the mercury and other toxins in those things, we get the benefit of shooting monkey DNA into our kids. Nice. No thanks. Not me.

The stuff in the vaccine is weakened, dead, or virus parts of the disease
causing pathogen. Or it is a no pathogenic version of the virus. these are
injected into the body to create a target. In doing so, your body builds a
recognition for the target virus and creates antibodies to fight it.
