Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Got to school this morning and flipped through the paper looking for the vote results, couldnt wait to get home when i found out that the vote had been delayed. Got on the NRA's site right away and immediately started doing a jig when i saw the senate overrode the veto! Let's hope the legislature follows suit. Dad said he's gonna put in right away for a permit when they make it legal. Wisconsin isnt liberal per say, but Madison is. Most people paint teh whole house with the same brush. If those pot head yuppies in Madison would get their heads outta their arses and realize what fools they are this state might be a better place.

$100 says it don't.

and for anyone that doubts me, look at the politicians/politics of this state.

We currently have Feingold/Kohl - the ambiguously gay duo.
We have dykes out of madison.
We have the 2nd highest tax burden in the country.
We are loosing 18,000 manufacturing jobs a year.
We pay out some of the highest in welfare/relief.

Tony Earl, Tommy Thompson (who is not conservative by a long shot).

This state is rife with crap heads and perverts.

It will NEVER pass until the Wisco. residents are picking peanuts out of their own schit and we have a mini-revolution.

I'm a little torqued that Wisconsin will pass shall-issue CCW before Iowa does. Wisconsin is one of the most liberal states in the union, where Iowa was run by a GOP governor for something like 40 years before we (well, not me, but the majority of people) elected Gov. Nut...er, uh...Vilsack into office (because Branstad retired). I THINK (not 100% sure, though) that both houses of the Iowa legislature have a GOP majority.

But then again, Tom Harkin keeps getting reelected, so maybe Iowa is beyond hope.

For the last couple years a CCW bill (actually just a change of the wording in the current law from "may issue" to "shall issue") has been introduced, but it has never gotten to a vote. Maybe next year.

I do hope Wisconsin's citizens win back their right to bear arms. If Wisconsin can do it, then there is still hope for Iowans too.
