I didn't see any of the debate, let me tell you why.
Although I love political debates, and love to be in them myself, hardly ever do you get a real answer out of anyone on a national/state level. You get lots of, he didn't do this, I'm better than him, my plan is to do more research, etc.
I think if you want a really good political debate from presidential hopefully you will have to hook electrodes up to thier "privates" and shock them with 300 volts every thime they don't give a real answer, which is 99% of the time. Now that will get my attention every time they are on TV

I don't watch debates either. I'll learn more here....on this forum....then I will listening to politicians tell "tall tales" on network TV. If you want to "know a politician"......look up their voting record! I assume everything of substance that comes out their mouths....will be a "half truth" at best!
Besides, I refuse to reward network TV with my viewership.

When I heard the quote I thought, "He's referring to the producers vs the non-producers (the "takers" that feel that they somehow "deserve" a piece of the success of others).
Turns out that hes actually saying that the nation is comprised of the "worker" vs the "rich."
It is interesting that an entire army of people have made very successful careers for themselves by carefully and skillfully selling that simplistic concept. Note that I did not say "simple" but simplistic.
Those that swallow the concept are the same types that used to swallow the stuff sold from the backs of wagons...snake-oil cure-alls.
