RE: Stealthycat, Question for you.
Something else to note. The child is one month old, what is one of the most important things while holding an infant child ? It is to support the head. A child of his age has cartilaginous bones and weak musculature. This is the reason you support babies head while holding them. This is also the reason you never shake a baby. Even excluding the monster in front of the two, I would say that this child is in danger of a snapped neck. And if he had to make a sudden move to allude the creature, It would do countless damage to the developing bones of this child, not to mention the unclosed skull the child
has.
As O'Reily says, "What say you Stealthy?".
Not picking on you Stealthy, just trying ot understand your point of view.

Okay, I did a bit more reading into this the past few days. Seems this crocodile was raised from a baby by Irwin and is rather a pet. The snapping and all is just part of the daily show that his little zoo-land puts on. That croc is no more wild than my neighbors poodle. Sure, a bit bigger, but no real danger because its simply a pet and nothing more.
Okay, thats not right. Actually the "baby" was a robotic AI protoype from Robinson Industries and THAT was part of the show that Iwin put on that day. because of the realism of that AI robot, Robinson Industry has went from $.19 a share to $42.50 in just 3 days of trading. Ironically, GW Bush and Martha Stewart both own large quantities of shares of Robinson Ind.
Okay, thats not it either. Irwin is a devout follower of Horoscopology and his Reader told him that taking his baby that day was in the stars. Don't question the power of the Cosmos I always say.
Theres two examples of child endangerment that happens to 20-30 million kids per year. Every time you see one of these, I expect ya'll will step right up and be vocal to the parents who endanger thier children this way needlessly just like you have about Irwin and Jacko.
Your driving home example just doesn't hold any water sorry.
I've done some more reading myself. I guess the croc being a pet gave Steve's wife the right to do this
Quote:
The Sunday Telegraph also reported that after the crocodile feeding, Irwin and his American wife, Terri, told their 5-year-old daughter, Bindi, to splash around in a pool near a crocodile pen to encourage the reptiles to swim out.
"Now flail around and look helpless, that's the girl, good girl," Terri Irwin was quoted as saying. "That's my girl, Bindi Irwin, the other white meat."

But seriously, explain how the two pictures I posted ISN'T child endangerment compared to Irwin and what he's doing ? That kid has serious health issues that will be long term - the auto is one we've seen thousands of times - both killers of children, not unlike the crocodile.

Ill agree 100% with ya on that one. The only thing Ill add is that we are tied to autos.. We cant escape that, so we do take precautions like seatbelts and car seats. Irwin had no type of saftey devices. Also Irwin had not reason to have a one month old in a corc. pen. That point I will never rebut.
