Well here we are out here on the "left" coast where California[&:] has already banned smoking in bars and taverns-Now county[&:] health boards in Washington are trying to impose thier[>:] own [X(]will on the peopleby doing the same and encouraging the state to pass thier own!
Now let's talk about rights
#1 people now have the right to choose non-smoking bars if they wish
.(and there are plenty of them)
#2 people who smoke can go to smoking establishments,as according to thier rights.
Now along comes the beaureuocrats(misspelled, I'm sure) to impose thier appointed (these positions are [&:]appointed[
])[X(] views on every one, and only one side will have any of these rights![>:][X(]
Now back to the rights issue;
Where is the easiest place to start with removing the populace from it's rights?
How about those who never knew' or had them- the young!
Hence' Washington legislators put severe restrictions on the driving "privileges" of those between age 16 and 18! Now I'm sure that many of you think of this as a "GOOD" idea, right?.... Wherein lies the problem! I would venture to guess that these laws would not apply to you...right?
Teens never had rights-won't miss them!!

Who do they pick on next?? Let's see here...... how about minorities. No, not ethnic minorities-Social minorities.... How about hunters??RE Banning of cougar hunting with hounds here in WA, and in Cal! Trapping RE no trapping with legholds in Washington! Urban yuppies didn't realize, that would include moles in thier yards. Eh'eh'eh!
More rights gone- and cougar attacks and farm losses have since risen sharply!

Now back to the subject at the title.....Smoking in bars and taverns. The Pierce county restaurant Assn. is in court trying to get this arbitrary law quashed- public money wasted!!- If the county prevails, King county wil IMMEDIATLY impose thier own.
Now with our economy up here already shaky, how do you suppose these businesses will suffer when they loose the business of these patrons? Beer, and mixed drinks are already cheaper at home- where they can smoke... What would they do,instead of gathering down at the local watering hole for college,NFL,NHL, NBA,MLB,NASCAR,and on,and on!!!!!!! Being a smoker myself, I will do what I already do- do it at home!!
Does anyone besides me see the Pattern, and problem here???

The foot IS in the door, and sooner or later these socialist laws and ordinances WILL step on your rights down the road....BANK ON IT!!!!!!!!!
