I received this email from the NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee). They are running a candidate (former Congressman John Thune) against tom dashole for senator in South Dakota. They are asking for a donation of $4 from 10,000 people to jumpstart their campaiagn. For those of you who'd like to help make daschle sweat it out, check out this link. Heck, you can't even buy a movie ticket for a measely $4 anymore.

Campaign 2004 is taking shape rapidly. Last night former Congressman John Thune announced his candidacy for Tom Daschle's South Dakota Senate seat.
His decision gives us an outstanding chance to win in South Dakota and another opportunity to strengthen our Republican Senate Majority.
As Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, I am asking that each of our supporters make an immediate financial contribution of at least $4.
The Democrats have obstructed the President's judicial nominees for purely partisan reasons.
The apparent Democrat presidential front runner Howard Dean and his allies in Congress are openly discussing raising your taxes with a repeal of the President's tax cuts should they be elected.
Democrat interest groups like MoveOn.org have pledged to spend hundreds of millions of dollars against President Bush and Republican Party candidates in negative attack ads.
Your Republican Senate Majority is committed to supporting the President, confirming his judicial nominees, cutting taxes and strengthening the economy.
The contrast between the parties is clear.
We need to strengthen our Republican Senate Majority and defend it from the Democrats' partisan attacks and their well-financed allies.
To do so, I have set a goal of raising $40,000 from 10,000 supporters by Saturday. This money will be used immediately to help John Thune and the other fine Republican candidates running for Senate.
I ask that you also forward this email to your family, friends and co-workers. Encourage them to make this investment in the future of our country.
