here's the deal. i live 90 miles from erie, pa. and about 180 miles away from pittsburgh and originally from pittsburgh area. i have dish network and my local tv stations are from NEW YORK CITY!!!!
i called dish to get pittsburgh stations (so i can check out my hometown news and whatch my steelers), they say they don't offer them in my area which is kind of funny because my NEXT DOOR neibor (also from the pittsburgh area) was having the same trouble. he has a camp about 15 minutes down the road and called dish and said he moved and brought the dish with him. even though the dish is in the SAME EXACT SPOT that it always has been, they TOLD him that he now qualifies for pittsburgh stations!!!! i told the lady that my neibor has it (not telling her the whole story) and asked her how this was possible and she gave me some line of crap that it must be the way the dish is pointed bla bla bla. well then i asked if i could get it if i paid extra.....NOPE NOTTA NO WAY!!! i asked about nfl sunday ticket, NOPE dish doesn't offer that. well i called primestar, they have the nfl sunday ticket but no nbc, cbs, or abc. my wife whatches all those friends and king of queens and other shows like that so that's out. i called my local cable company and NOPE NOTTA NO WAY that i can get pittsburgh stations, only erie which they show the browns or bills games. so unless i buy another residence in an other area, THERE IS NO WAY POSSIBLE for me to get the stations i want even though i'm willing to pay for it. is this a load of crap or what????
Tell DISH network that you've moved to your neighbor's residence and get his deal. Then tell him to throw the new bill on your front porch so you can pay it.
