Child Endangerment - what is it ?

Define it please, since ya'll can pick it out so easily by hearing a story or seeing a picture. I'm all ears, and after you guys tell me what you think I'll shred your definitions and prove that each of you as well has done as much or worse than the croc hunter did.

I say when you send your children to the Liberal schools you are endangering them. More parents need to check out schools and what they are teaching.

Ok I'm part owner of a Golf Course that I've been working at for 10 years.

Now I really know this Golf Course like the back of my hand. I've seen a ton of thunder storms there and I've become sort of a meteorologist. I love to study weather. I know exactly where lightning is prone to strike at my course during a storm. Theres a good storm coming so I decide to let my 9 year old go out and stand in the 8th fairway because I want him to experience it. I'm pretty sure that he won't be struck by lightning from what I've seen in the last 10 years, but geez I may be wrong. Is that child endangerment?? After all I am an expert at golf (especially my course) and pretty adept at predicting weather.

Child Endangerment:

Knowingly placing a child in harms way.

(easily shreded) but it's true.

Did the croc hunter knowingly place his child in harms way, Yes.
Did he believe anything would happen to this child, NO.

Maybe there are different degrees of Child Endangerment:

Wreckless: Knowingly putting a child in harm's way.
Careless: Unintentionally putting a child in harm's way.

Heck, I don't have the answer!

Suppling crack to your kids .... Yes

Handing your kids a loaded shoutgun with no instruction and saying have fun...yup

Not feeding your kids for days so you can have money for beer, sure is.

Taking your kids to an island off the Alaskan coast that is heavily populated with grizzly bears, with out a gun or bear spray or the electric fences that every other researcher there uses and getting them killed, Yes. Even if you think your an expert on their habits and have had close encounters before and not been killed.

Same rationale...we live in an area with a lot of lightning, so I want my child to be "lightning-savy."

Lightening savy, how about lightening dead.

IMO, sending your kid out to the 8th fairway in the
middle of a lightening storm was pretty stupid, and mean.
