PLEASE FORWARD BP TO YOUR FRIENDS . . . Whether it is a purely technical glitch or something else has yet to be exactly determined, but we have received complaints for the past several weeks from Bullet Points (BP) subscribers who missed their weekly edition of our subscription-only newsletter. Then, several of the staff at NSSF also stopped receiving personal copies of Bullet Points at home e-mail addresses. The common denominator to the missing editions was America Online, and some technical forensic work on the Internet determined that mail from our address was being classified by AOL as spam, the unwanted junk mail cluttering e-mail inboxes at a staggering rate. Past editions of Bullet Points may be lingering in a spam folder accessible to AOL users, but it's a feature with which many may not be familiar. Plus, it's obviously impossible for us to tell our regular subscribers about the problem since AOL is blocking delivery, and we are investigating complaints that other providers may be doing the same. Please forward this copy of Bullet Points to anyone you know who is interested in the firearms industry and hunting and shooting topics to alert them to the issue, while we work to restore Bullet Points to its rightful distribution. As always, BP subscription and unsubscribe options are available on the NSSF Web site.
AOL sucks anyways! I don't understand why anyone wants to use their services.
