how old were you when you got your first gun ?

I had pellet guns and a .22 when I was a kid ... but I got my forst 20 gauage shotgun when I was 10 I believe.

How about ya'll ?

Always had BB/pellet guns and dads .22. Got my first one,20ga New England Firearms single shot when I was 11 I think.

My grand Parents bought all of the grandsons a bb gun for Xmas when they were six. I have been a gun nut since even before that. My Dad gave me his old 20 Ga shotgun when I was 12. My Grandpa gave me his old Winchester pump 22 when I was 14. I bought my first gun when I was 18 and out of High School. An old Eddis Stone 30-06 for 17.50. and a Remington Nylon 66. I have purchased at least a 100 since then. Like I said GUN NUT.

My first gun was a .22cal bolt action, JC Higgins. Got it when I was 10 years old. Had it up to 5 years ago when some scumbag broke into my loghome and stole it.

Got my first one before I was born. In my family, there was no greater gift to show love than to buy someone a gun. Great family huh. My grandpa bought me a Mossberg 12ga. He sold it some years later, because it kicked too hard and didn't want me to be scared of the recoil. He replaced it with a new Winchester XTR 1500 12ga. That's been 25 years ago and it still looks and shoots great!!

I had bb and pellet guns since before i can remember but I got my first real gun when I was eleven. Winchester defender 1300 twelve gage. Eighteen years later it has never failed to operate.

Was given my first 22 at ten and bought my first shotgun myself at twelve . Still have the 22 , I think it's called a antique now .

I got a Marlin Model 60 .22LR back when I was around 13 or 14. Once I grew up, moved away, joined the service, etc... I think my dad gave the old .22 to a buddy of his and lost track of it all those years ago. No biggie... I went out and got another one a few years go. I like the Marlin .22's - keep 'em clean and they will always be a reliable shooter and last a lifetime. [:-]

My Grandfather gave me his 16 guage Model 12 Winchester we I was about 13. I bought my own .22 about a year later.
