Default Veteran Texas Democrat Switches to Republicans

1 more Republican and 1 less Democrat. I've also heard that there are no democrats running for statewide office in Texas.

Yeah I was reading that a day or 2 ago, The article I was reading also stated that since 1992 there had been 174 elected democrats in Texas switch to the Republican party.

what this tells me is they ain't too far apart.

this could be a very scary red hering guys , think about it , a large number of dems switching sides to become republicans so they can get elected into office in a conservative state , and then uphold thier democrat beliefs. granted this is on a very wide spread scenario but , think about what that would do to our nation

yea charlie , i agree but , not all people go on the voting record , a lot are party voters. those are mainly the voters i was referring too , the ones that actually go by voting record are usually also the ones that watch the debates as well. an example of what i'm talking about is sen. john mccain , he's a conservative party member but , look how liberally slanted his voting record is [&:]

I know a lot of "football fans" like that. "Their" team is whomever is winning at the time....and I don't think much of them either!

Show me a change in substance.....then it means something.
