Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Debates again

I have been sitting here listening to the clowns debate again. Its mostly Bush bashing again but they have some scary Ideas to give away the rest of the ranch." We will give all to everyone." Sounds good on paper but as usual quess who foots the bill? I have been trying to decide who would be the worst choice. Darned if I know. Gephart has already given away everything but my long underwear.

Man, you've got that right. Carolyn Mosley Braun (or whatever) would give "health care to all Americans, working or not, to cover them for all ailments of all kinds, including prescription drugs, and long term care."

Sounds great, lady. How ya gonna pay for it?

Default RE: Debates again

I saw the same debate from owa on fox News of all places. And CNN wonders why they keep slipping in viewership. From the parts I saw, none of the candidates had any positive agenda or ideas on how to run our country.

Most of them did want to bash Bush but could not give any logical alternatives. In fact, they seem to think that we somehow could have persuaded france, germany, russia, etc. to have actually sent in combat troops through UN auspices. Where were these guys during the last few years? The UN and those countries specifically refused to send any troops into Iraq or Afghanistan or any other countries who had any kind of standing army.

I can consider a different opinion when somebody has an intelligent argument to make but this was nothing more than ignorance at best and (more likely) stupidity at the worst. And Mosely-Braun is living in a bigger dream world than almost any other person in this country. She has no means for paying for any of the socialist programs she's promoting and is evidently content to see the U.S. succomb to the level of many European countries which is not much better than some 3rd world countries. No wonder so many Dems are feeling disenfranchised right now. They have a bunch of losers for candidates.
