Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

To some extent.

We both agree animals are here for a purpose. They say animals are here to view, love, and enjoy. I say they are here to view, eat, and enjoy!

Hmm, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals....I believe in treating animals with humanely and with repect. I believe there needs to be a balance between the human and animal worlds. I also believe we are at the top of the food chain. As long as we utilize what we kill and kill as humanely as possible while making sure we don't wipe out a species then we are doing what is in the natural order of things. The problem I have is when the life of an animal is placed above the life of a human. We are not equals nor will we ever be.

PETA stands for and has a LOT of issues I do not and can never agree with. But they're kinda like Liberals in that a few of their beliefs are decent

Bull fighting and dog fighting ... I don't agree with those things. Cock fighting I am not too agains tbecause they're just brainless chickens. I agree with no canned "hunting". Theres probably other points that I agree with too.

Animals are here for us to use - I firmly believe that. NOT to abuse though or to mistreat.

Ya'll, every one of you that bowhunt, I can PROVE you agree with PETA. How ?

I shot at a big buck last night with my longbow. Right at dark, I took about a 110 yard shot and hit him way back in the guts area. I looked a few minutes, couldn't find him and went home. Tough break huh ?

See ? Obviously thats an unethical way to hunt, unethical way to treat an animal. Correct ?

I'm not sure the point you are trying to make unless that yeah, people do stupid things. PETA would say the same thing about a 10 point you dropped at 10yards instantly.

Seriously Zelcat, you need to ease up on the comparison crap. I just got through sifting through a few threads relating to canned hunts and 90% of your posts have some type of comparison with guns, whores, prositution, gay marriages etc. Make that 94%. Stick with the issue and stop the sideshow. It just sways the debate to other things. Is that your purpose?

does homoseuxals getting "married" have any impact on the institute of Marriage ?

See, it does lead to you talking about other things.

I think *****s getting married destroys what marriage is - an institution between a man and woman bound by love and God. Calling two men that choose to live in sin "married" takes away from that.

If kids that are 8-10 years old today see homosexuality as nothing new, as ***** marriage as normal and everyday, then whan they become older and their generation the ones who vote and their generation the opinion that matters most, then certainly to them what marriage IS has changed from what my generation views it and certainly from my parents generation.

These places are NOT hunting no more than homo weddings result in a marriage, no more than a rape is making love and no more than Michael Jackson just has a skin disorder.

The definition is like trying to define what a whore is. We all know them when we see them - its just hard to define. But I'll give it a whirl.

excellent points, but do you see the fights over 65% letoff and crossbows ? Over mechnical heads, over baiting, over deer drives etc etc etc ? I am NOT against a type of hunting - because canned hunts are NOT hunts at all but shoots. Do you agree with dog fighting and cock fighting ? Bull fighting ? Do you agree with baiting, running dogs, high fences, genetic breeding, game farming etc etc etc ?

Then you agree with legalizing crossbows, draw locks, mechnical heads, baiting any and everything, running hound whenever and wherever etc etc ? Of course you don't, you want those things LEGISLATED, don't you ?

Kinda like saying prostituion is making love like married people make love .... NOT the same thing, not at all.

And this is just from me scrolling through one thread! I won't even dive into the other threads. I understand doing it a couple times but jeeez! Ease up a bit will ya?
