Anyone see the 2-hour History Channel coverage of the Kennedy assassination last night?

I always did believe that it was quite possible that one man acting alone with that old beat-up Mannlicher Carcano could EASILY have been the only shooter, and that the Warren Commision's findings were correct. I believe that this has now been essentially proven SCIENTIFICALLY, and that the conspiracy theory folks are just gonna hafta eat crow! FINALLY!![>:]

I saw that show. Since it was on public T.V. it's still suspect.
I'm irritated that the findings of the Warren commission were sealed for 100 years. What are they hiding? If they're not hiding something then why seal the results?
Am I a conspiracy theorist? Not really. I have learned not to trust liberals and I want all the evidence (Warren commission findings) available before making a decision.

I have no doubt Oswald also shot him but I have seen the show you are talking about and several more and I also have no doubt that there was also another shooter. There is a sewer directly inline with the grassy knoll that is the perfect height for a man to walk up to and look out of. From that position the shooter would have been perfectly concealed and had a perfect head on shot. The shooter also had an undetectable escape route through the sewer system. I have been there and walked it out etc. and the sewer is the most logical choice for a second shooter. I am still having trouble swallowing how Kennedy's head lurched backward from a shot that came from the rear. Anyway, that documentary certainly didn't change my mind.

The Warren Commission report sealed?? Since when? I've read it myself several times, and believe me, it's dry and boring as hell. As well as way too long!!

When a head explodes from the impact of a high-velocity bullet, it can lurch ANY direction! The large mass of brain tissue exiting to the front out the exit wound cavity very easily explains the reaction seen in the Zapruder film! Hasven't you ever seen a person shot from the front fall forward, in the direction the shot came from? I have!!

Not all of the report was open to the public.
Some that was sealed was released in the early 90's with alot of blacked out words and phrases. (I have seen copies of it)
The entire thing is to be released in 2017.
This is according to the AP as read in our local paper.

There are too many inconsistency in the Warren Commission's finding and subsequent attempts to force the facts into the "lone gunman" theory.

Just to name a few things that don't add up to Oswald being the only shooter, if he was even one of them:
- WWI vintage antique, poor quality, unreliable rifle characteristics. In other tests, this rifle misfeed or misfired 25% of the time.
- Contrary to what Jennings tried to build Oswald"™s rifle skills up to, he only qualified as "œmarksman"� in the Marines. Maybe the Marines have a different rating system than when I qualified in the Army 30 years ago, but for us "œmarksman"� was the minimum rating you could pass with. "œSharpshooter"� was the 2nd highest and "œexpert"� was the highest. I"™ve heard repeatedly that Oswald was qualified as "œmarksman"�. (That"™s with stationary targets and with an M1, which is a far superior weapon to the piece of junk he allegedly used.
- The complications of a shooter of Oswald"™s average marksman skills to hit a moving target below, moving away and laterally from him. Where was his point of aim to hit his "target"? He couldn"™t have aim directly at JFK to hit him.
- A round nosed, soft-point 6.5 mm slug that allegedly passed through 2 adult men's torsos, through Gov. Connolly's wrist and lodging in his thigh with almost no damage to the slug and supposedly passed in a straight line the whole way, is too incredible to imagine. Somehow it magically showed up on the gurny next to one of the victims in the hospital. How"™d it get there?
- The shot in the head that killed JFK. If it came from the 6th story of the book depository as Warren Comm. said, where is the slug? It should have been embedded in the floor of the limo, if it came from above and behind. But if it came from the right and front of the car, would have traveled into the landscaping or out of the area to the left and rear of the vehicle and never accounted for. To my knowledge that slug was never found. That itself leaves a huge gap in the 1 shooter theory.
- In the biggest shooting of the century, why were unqualified people allowed to do the so called "autopsy" and alter entrance and exit wounds sizes?
- LBJ thought and confided in his lawyer friend that he thought there were others beside Oswald who killed JFK.

This only a scratches the surface of the mountain of reasons of why not to buy the Warren Comm. report hook line and sinker. I'm not obsessed by any means with the JFK shooting, but I hate it when weinnies like Peewee Jennings throw a bunch of half baked statements and pronouncements together, with some "special effects" and a masked "former KGB agent" with altered voice that "prove" his conclusions are "right". I got dish network to get away from this network fraud artist Jennings and his kind. I was very disappointed in The History Channel to drop to Jennings' level on this program. I gave it an "œF"� for fiction, faked, fraud"¦

for all of you forensic scientists out there...... i don't beleive that any amount of brain tissue discharging from an exit wound would cause the head to go backwards while the bullet also came from the back, it's against the law of physics. besides for all of this, i believe there was a HUGE conspiracy and oswald may have been the sole shooter, but he was definately not the mastermind of the operation. the gov't can release every document in the file.........that doesn't automatically reveal the truth. we all know that documents can be forged. they also could end up being some kids thesis. the fact still is (and always will be) a mystery.

This bullet is NOT A SOFTPOINT! It is a 160-grain RN FMJ "solid" of the same kind W.D.M. Bell and others used to shoot through elephants' brains with! There is NOTHING INCREDIBLE AT ALL about the penetration of that bullet. I actually witnessed two mule deer killed with ONE 140-grain 6.5X55mm softpoint at about 200 yards. The bullet passed through one and killed another standing behind the first one! And the bullet was a Sierra PSPBT!!

According to the History Channel program, Oswald qualified "Sharpshooter" ion the USMC. The first time I shot the M1 for record, I too qualified "Sharpshooter". It was a dark, rainy, windy day at Ft. Hood TX. The next time, the weather was perfect, and I qualified EXPERT. Just because a person shoots Marksman, or whatever, doesn't mean he/she is stuck in that classification for ever.

For you conspiracy buffs, "don't confuse me with the facts. My mind is made up!!"
