I was first exposed to the DART systems while in Law Enf. We trianed on one and it was very realistic and a great trianing aid. A lot of "shoot-don't shoot " situations that forced you to think quickly. They'd have the same scenario just modified enough to fool you from one time to the next. It also made trianing a lot more fun that punching holes in the silhouettes. The thing was if you did not get a neutralizing hit the bad guy just kept going or shooting back. Of course that never happened to me.

Several of the local ranges have them for archery. They are not as sophisicated as the LE ones but then agian the average range does not have the same buget as a municipality.
I think the going rate here is about 10 bucks for a twenty target shoot and there is a time limit on them. The problem is everything is either 15 or 20 yards away regarless to the image.
Fun but not a great practice aid for hunting at different ranges.
