Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I didn't vote for him before and see no reason to change my mind. I don't dislike him but do not agree with all of his views and think he would not be capable of being as good of a president as Bush 2. JMHO but that's it.

Since he is primarily responsible for the seccession of the Southern states before Lincoln came into office, I vote NO!

I like Buchanan in a lot of his views. His problem, however, is that he hates everybody. And that is why his political career will never amount to anything. Also, as Calhunter said, I don't think he would be as capable of holding the office as Dubya.

If there ever was a time in America and the world that issolationism, like what Buchanan wants, made sense, that idea went out the window on 9/11.

We can't just sit back in our corner of the world and let terrorists destroy countries around us and civilization. We need to go over to their nests of rats and destroy them and free the people they've oppressed for so long, just like our President and our Armed Forces are doing in Afghanistand and Iraq and will need to continue to do for many years.

It won't stop until the bad men who think up and support these Fascists wrapped in robes of extreme religiosity are discredited, their weapons are destroyed and they are shown to be frauds to all the world to see.

We can't afford a Buchanan or a counter-part on the Left who don't have a strong view of our role in the world.

DING DING DING!!! We have a winner!

I don't particularly care for Pat Buchanan. I've seen him on TV many times and heard what he has to say. The guy is so abrasive - he reminds me of 80 grit sand paper!!! [:'(] He's way to over-the-edge for my tastes.

The best he could ever hope for is to "throw enough votes to the Democrats" (by syphoning off votes that would otherwise go Republican) that he would succeed in helping another idiot like Clinton into office. Essentially what Perot did to Bush senior.

And no matter if I agree entirely with many of the important issues with Bush he is a h**l of alot better than Gore or Clinton (either Clinton)! Some people need to realize that until "Constitutionalist" can field a viable candidate......we are essentially voting for the less of two evils. (Or we chance throwing the election to the "worse of two evils".) And that's life "on Ridgemont High"........like it or not!

P.S. So why do we keep doing this to ourselves? (This same "ole tired" debate every other day!)
