Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default national Gun & Culture survey, starting to stink

The survey includes a number of questions on guns, race, gender, and other
social issues of interest. The web survey is a pretest of a national phone
survey that will be completed in February. It should take about 10
minutes. More information and the survey itself can be found here:

The author sounds like an anti to me, Looks like he tried to disguise it the best he could but they just can't do it.

The first paragraph of the intro has a typo. I expect more from Yalies.

Not in this day and age! Both the professors and students, as a rule, are pretty close to being illiterate!!

I don't know mike,

to be perfectly honest, I see alot of guys out there introducing their kids to firearms, the only difference is that given the schit culture we have, dad has to keep them firmly locked up.

I don't think it's as bad as you think -- it's certainly worse than when I was a kid, but I don't know... we'll see. I think i'll be able to make a truly informed decision (generally based upon obseravation) within about 5 years.

I know all of my relatives are armed to the teeth and they love it and are responsible.

I took the survey and asked to be notified of the results. More of us pro-gunners need to represent our sport in these surveys so people can learn what the public really thinks. Also, they include boxes where you can offer additional comments. Very useful and the survey givers get a chance to learn more.

If any of you do take the survey be careful to read each question. It does seem to switch from strongly agree to disagree without warning.

I don't see the questions as anti gun. The conclusions from Yale might be though!!

I just took it, and turtle's right. Did it to get may say in. I responded that it'll be interesting to see how the results are portrayed. Most of the questions are about how folks think or feel. We'll see.
